About the Speaker: Nadia Guerch is MEDA's Senior Regional Director for LEAP (Latin America & Caribbean, Eastern Europe, Asia Pacific), boasting a 15-year career as an international development professional. With extensive expertise in economic empowerment strategies, she excels in strategic planning, program design, organizational capacity building, multi-sectoral partnerships, and field operations management. Nadia's reach extends to over 15 countries across Africa, the Middle East, the Americas, and Asia, collaborating with government agencies, local governments, global foundations, development agencies, private sector organizations, and international non-governmental organizations. In her prior role as Deputy Director with Youth Challenge International, she oversaw $50M+ livelihoods programs in Senegal, Tanzania, Ghana, Peru, Bolivia, and Indonesia. Nadia holds post-graduate degrees in Political Science and Psychology, as well as a bachelor's degree in International Relations and International Law, and is fluent in French, English, Spanish, and Arabic.
