On behalf of the MEDA Lancaster Network hub we invite you to join us for this special event where we will hear about harnessing the power of entrepreneurship in agriculture for the common good. Join us at 6:30pm - we will have hors d’oeuvres and the program and then stick around for a bonus business tour of the Hoober plant and their new office facility!

Hadija Jabiri Pheri (Former MEDA Client from Tanzania)
Hadija is an entrepreneur dedicated to transforming the agricultural sector in Africa for good. She began her journey with a small plot of land in Tanzania and grew her agribusiness, GBRI Business Solutions, a horticultural export company that empowers smallholder farmers in Tanzania and Burundi by improving market access and promoting sustainable farming practices. She also founded Agriedo Hub, an innovation and entrepreneurship hub that supports youth and women in agribusiness through mentorship, training, and strategic linkages. Her story is a testament to faith, bold leadership, and the power of business to create meaningful change in her community.

Dorothy will share an update on MEDA’s journey, highlighting key successes, current challenges, and ways you can get involved in advancing the mission. With deep expertise in sustainable development across the Global South, she will offer insights on how innovation, strategic partnerships, and investment are driving resilience and prosperity—creating sustainable pathways out of poverty through job creation and business development.
